Playlists
Ordering slides, reusing them across playlists and previewing what screens will show.
A playlist is an ordered list of slides that plays on a loop.
Creating a playlist
Go to Playlists and tap +. Give it a descriptive name — Lunch menu, Lobby weekdays, Christmas campaign. A playlist can hold up to 500 slides.
Adding and arranging slides
- Tap + inside a playlist to create a new slide in it.
- Drag slides by their handle to reorder them.
- Tap a slide to edit it. Changes to a slide show up in every playlist that uses it.
Durations
Each slide has its own duration, but a playlist can override it for that one position. For example, a promo image can stay up for 10 seconds in the lobby playlist and 30 seconds in the waiting-room playlist.
Videos set to Until video ends advance as soon as the clip finishes.
Preview
Tap Preview to play the playlist full-screen in your browser, exactly as the player renders it — same layout, same transitions. Start the preview from any slide by tapping that slide's preview button.
Using a playlist
A playlist does nothing on its own until a screen group uses it, either as the group's default playlist or in a schedule rule. See screen groups and schedules. Then publish.
