Info Display OS

An operating system that does one thing well

Boots straight to the player

A minimal Debian 13 system with a locked-down Chromium kiosk. No desktop, no pop-ups, no login screen.

Updates itself

Security updates install automatically. Agent updates can be pushed from the editor.

Finds its way online

Ethernet, Wi-Fi, USB-stick settings, phone tethering, and a setup hotspot when nothing else works.

Locked down

Root is locked, services run unprivileged, the recovery page needs an on-screen PIN.

Maintenance on site

Ctrl+Alt+M opens a maintenance desktop with status, network tools and logs.

Any orientation

Landscape, portrait, or mounted upside down — the player rotates its output for you.
